Totally calling Notch accidentally becomes famous again in like 10 years.

Funny thing is, I saw both of those in a book store of all places, and yeah, they did look a little... pixel-y.

I guess it's supposed to be one of those things you hang on your wall, but...personally, if I buy a silly toy tool I'd like to swing my silly toy tool around! ^_^

At least torches are rectangles instead of squares making diagonal lines, so you can somewhat easily hold it.

 

Do you fuckers want a round Minecraft pickaxe, or what? It looks like the god-damn pickaxe from Minecraft. That's the selling point. The single reason this chunk of foam was produced and sold. If you want LARPing weapons you should find a better video game to like.

The MC torch is just supposed to look like it is from the game. it has no practical use, so i don;t know why it would need to be held easily. Also I have that torch, it can be hung on a wall, so it's more of a decoration.

anyway, as long as we still get the dreamland that Notch wanted, and the price doesn't go higher than 40$ (not including inflation) I will be happy, and might get a PC copy.


Why are people whining about more stuff being added though, that's completely beyond me.

 

If people whine about additions, it's because it negates something that old consumers are used to (radically changes the game in a perceived negative light), or it's exclusive to a platform.

As a frequent mcf user I'd know why.

Basically they're entitled morons. It's either "MAKE NEW STUFF" or "THIS STUFF SUCKS DON'T MAKE IT"

Which is why I'm glad like 50% of them have said they're quitting.

Nah, it's promoted as both decoration and a handheld torch. It's quite useful, especially when it's pitch black and you need to go to the toilet :3

Just so you know "more stuff being added" led to hunger. Hunger is literally the most unfun element they added to the minecraft. To afraid to check back to see if they did anything that made playing minecraft even less fun.

 

Every Minecraft update ever is amazing...besides hunger, that is.
