It's not much, especially compared to Noxid's, but it has pratical applications.

It's called a prime. We use them in calculus, but I'm not sure of gramattical applications. A tilde is ~.

It's not a prime. The "grammatical application" of ` is as a grave accent. You could also use it as a reverse prime, I suppose. If you want a prime, you could use the acute accent (´), but actually the prime is its own character in Unicode (′). As you can see (provided you have Unicode), ` is not an accurate replacement for prime.

I draw with Paintool Sai. It's free and it's great, especially for tablets. I made a "speed paint" drawing of Sabitsuki from .flow last night, 2 hours. I got the inspiration for doing speed paint drawings by this wonderful asian digital artist on DA
