If you need any questions answered regarding the complicated plot, feel free to ask. Kara No Kyoukai is very difficult to interpret without previous knowledge of the Nasuverse.

 

I've just finished downloading Kara no Kyoukai 1-3, not sure when I can find the time to watch it, since it is a hectic year, but I'm gonna trust you on this since you are recommending it.

But I must ask, what is Nasuverse?

Do I have to watch an anime to get knowledge on the Nasuverse first? Cause I'd do it.

 

The Nasuverse is the setting that all the writings of TYPE-MOON's scenario director, Kinoko Nasu, share. It is made up of several "franchises" that all take place in the same world with the same rules, but interestingly enough, seldom cross over in an obvious manner. Also of note is that while these franchises are not conducive to separate continuities of each other, the franchises themselves are made up of several, since the primary works are visual novels with multiple and entirely mutually exclusive paths.

It's constructed mainly of several extremely popular franchises, like Tsukihime, Melty Blood, and Fate/Stay Night, Kara No Kyoukai being relatively less known, though DDD is by far the least recognized. Several of the main works are eroge (h-games, though it‘s more plot with porn than porn with plot), while many of the related works are not.

Having plenty of great characters and an endless supply of powerlevel debates, it's quite fun.

 

Up to episode 7 of Last Exile. Looking pretty good so far.

 

Bleach anime kinda sucks.

Too much fillers. And if I'm not wrong, you're at the Bount arc, which is an entirely filler arc.

Anyway, finished 3 episodes (though they're like an hour each, 50 - 60 minutes) of Kara no Kyoukai. Now I have to download 4 and 5.

Anyway, episode 3 has some slight nipple shots for those who somehow hate these things. The other episodes have some panty shots but that's like not too bad.

The fight scenes are definitely awesome and worth watching.

Confused about any of the concepts presented in the movies thus far? I know I was the first time I watched them.

 

Mainly the time frames confused me.

I was like watching the first movie and when I went to the second movie Kokuta was all "lolwhotehfuxru" @ Shiki.

Then when it reached the ending I discovered it was like before movie 1, which forced me to pay attention to the dates in the future.

And the claymations at the beginning were adorable <3

 

2 -> 4 -> 3 -> 1 -> recalled out summer -> 5 -> 6 -> 7

There's going to be another long wait till 6 gets released, but until then, here's some publicity material.
