Well I believed at some point that King would've taken red flowers, but the cutscene after returning from Grasstown suggests that King was never a part of the war and most likely never took the flowers.

King: So we're...weapons?
Sue: That's right.
Sue: The Doctor wants to use the red flowers to make you attack the humans.
Jack: W--Why does he want to do that?!
Sue: That man is...
Sue: ...is like a demon.
Jack: And he's going to use those flowers on Toroko?
Sue: As far as I can tell, he's still looking for them.
Sue: We can only hope he doesn't find them.
Jack: If...
Jack: If he finds those flowers, Toroko...
Sue: She would go wild... A weapon of death...
King: I'll never allow that to happen!

You guys are silly. This is practically thrown in your faces in the game.
Looks like it's time for me to take everything way too far again. (Hi, Fire)

ShwahnStuff said:
Look at King.
A Mimiga leader with a scar. Next.

ShwahnStuff said:
Look at Arthur's House's lower level.
There's water and red petals, suggesting that Arthur ate some Red flowers and that his house has shitty plumbing.

ShwahnStuff said:
Look at how protective King is of Toroko.
Like of a member of his village. (A little hint: Sue is not.)

ShwahnStuff said:
LOOK AT "KING" AND "ARTHUR".
I'm looking. This is not a British legend, this is a Japanese videogame.

ShwahnStuff said:
You guys and your odd theories.
Um... okay, whatever you say.

ShwahnStuff said:
Arthur is King's father? Come on, now. Why assume something that far-fetched when it's as clear as can be?
And that would be... what exactly? Like, say, King is Arthur? While Arthur is, I dunno, dead??

ShwahnStuff said:
I'd have thought there'd be a discussion on such things as "does Jack or anyone else know?" and the like. Not this.
So you come to a community and say it sucks because it does what it does? That's smooth, man.

ShwahnStuff said:
Also, King strikes some of you as old?
Well, yeah, since he, well, leads a freaking village!

ShwahnStuff said:
I pictured him young and a little reckless, seeing as he's consumed red flowers and all.
As andwhy already said, when did he do that?

Maybe Arthur was a pimp, and he passed on his pimp legacy to King.
^This sounded good in my head.
I don't think so, for the same reason I think King's old.
How does Toroko push him around like that?
All she has to do is run in his general direction and he falls over like a house of sticks :D {Wanted to say cards, but that's too cliche}

King is obviously not old.
That's simply retarded.
I'd say, in relation to the average mimiga lifespan, if Toroko is 8, King is 15.
There's no evidence what-so-ever to prove that he's old or that Toroko's young, really.
Anyways, care to explain how Toroko pushes him around like that?

No, because she's running around like a headless chicken instead of charging in one direction.

I'm pretty sure an 8-year-old could knock you over if they caught you off-guard.
What? Does King have Plain Sight Blindness?
Did he not see Toroko charging at him? He even yelled at her.
And, again, we have no proof at all that she's even younger than him.
For all we know, it could be backwards with Mimigas.... :D

KING... TOROKO... RAPE... SENTENCE STRUCTURE... INCEST.... BLAH!
That gives me an idea... Maybe Arthur had a thing for incest and took on the secret identity of King so he could rape Tokoro without her knowing it was her brother.

I don't remember what this thread topic is anymore but I know what it is now.
Actually, I considered that (for different reasons) and I figured it's impossible for King to be Arthur, unless they buried someone or something that isn't Arthur. He must have gone through a lot of trouble to incestuously rape Toroko. I think he's Jacob's new role model, if your theory is true, Yakkers.
SO FAMILY FRIENDLY.

Anyways, I really don't think King = Arthur, as said so many times, however, I DO think that King's proficiency with a blade shows that he must have mentored under someone (I mean, COME ON, one hitting Balrog, when he's got somewhere near 400 hp per fight...), and given Arthur chasing off the red demon by himself, I would believe it was Arthur who taught him, and it was Arthur's last wish for King to take care of his little sister for him.

Or it was King who trained Arthur, who was his son, and now he's fiercely protecting Toroko, King's only surviving family member (daughter).

If you recall what Jack said before going to the sand zone, He talks about when he was younger (I think it says younger, can't remember...) He remembers the red demon coming to the village, and Arthur alone driving it back, though, Jack looks quite young, and King looks a bit older than Jack. However, we never ever have any form of a picture of Arthur, not even in the best credits...

Arthur made a name for himself as a hero long after the wars. Yes, King most likely did eat the red flowers, but that was most likely during the war, not after it. I'd highly doubt that King would ever touch that stuff again any time after the war considering what happened.

Though if the name connection was any indication then there is probably a link between King and Arthur. It is more likely that King is Toroko and Arthur's father, though there is no way to verify that.

Sorry, but that theory makes little sense to me chronologically.
King doesnt grow big, though.

Probably because he didn't actually eat flowers. He might have inhaled some pollen or something.
