Just... Wow... I don't know I've known someone who's had to go through that pain though. I did have some friends though, get into a really (and I mean really) bad fight and one of my friends actually was considering suicide. Luckily though, we got over it and eventually, all of us made it out alive and well.

I'm surprised that no charges were pressed, especially given that those who had sex with her and took the pictures could be very easily charged with rape and child pornography.

I'm guessing today's parenting must be fantastic with these angels bullying her for getting humiliated and forced upon by a bunch of guys, with the act uploaded forever on the internet for all to see. The audacity for the big news channels to show empathy for the persecutors to lure viewers with controvesy is pretty sick, too.

But in the end, not much will change because this sort of tragedy has happened again and again with no signs of changing.

Now that I think about it, driving another person to the road of suicide is the one of the worst things you can do to him or her...

Always be careful with what you say and do to other people...

This reminds me of a story our principle told us at an anti-bullying assembly. This wasn't exactly suicide, but it's still something about what bullying can do to someone, so I'll tell you anyway. He told us about a kid who was seriously bullied. Year after year this kid was bullied. No one stopped it. No one helped him. Heck-they did the opposite! They JOINED in the act! The bullying happened to the point that the kid couldn't take it anymore. He told them that he was never returning, and climbed over the fence and ran away. Or at least he TRIED to run away. He was so scared he didn't look both ways of the street and got hit by a car. A few months later, he died. When the principle asked why the kids would do such a thing, all the said was "Well, I was just kidding!"
