since the last modding site got closed i decided to make a site myself
currently i am working on adding to the mods show case

I havent heard of a modding site. But rather a modding thread.

I think the site needs a lot more work. Immediately, you should fix the spelling and capitalization issues. The gigantic icon at the top seems kind of pointless and makes it annoying to scroll down.

Also, out of courtesy, you should probably link back to the forum thread for each mod in addition to the direct download link. Just a suggestion. Moreover, why does King's Story not have an image?

EDIT: Holy crap you also put in assembly guides from the frumz.

 

Seeing as the mods all contain some form of author copyright info...

 

I'm pretty sure SP only uploaded other peoples' mods when they gave him permission to do so (hint: this is a hint)

I would also like to know why the current on-site catalogue isn't adequate?

Umm, I'm pretty sure they still want credit. Regardless of whether its a link to the download or otherwise. That's like saying I'm gonna give you a link to this pirated song, but not the whole download. The creator still doesn't get what they deserve be it money or just acknowledgement of their creation.

Why is there a random Calender on the site?

 

I believe that's a default for Google Sites. It's deletable, but I guess he chose not to/isn't going to delete it. Oh, and to Cave story site, why are some component of your posts always red?

Really? Can't you just change the theme? I have a Google sites website as well so I *know* you can do this.

Also, since you're getting permission and whatnot, I give you permission to link to my mod's download links.
The thing that's interesting about this site is that quoted posts carry the "look-n-feel" of vBulletin, which I have to say is a pretty neat idea.
