I also have this problem where as soon as I exit First Cave via the door on the top right, I get an error message that is(at least what is to me) gibberish, then CaveStory shuts down. I am currently playing it on my computer, it's Windows 7. I've tried doing different compatibility options...

Hey guys. Sorry about that other thread. I decided to make a new one where I actually asked for help. :p So, my questions now are = 1. How do I edit weapons, such as how to change damage. I tried to look at the sticky for this, but the page just wouldn't load. 2. How to hack profile.dat...

If how to start modding is in the Hacking/Mod forum, how come none of the threads say anything about it? For my question about profile.dat = How else would I put it? I have no information about it. (And YES I DID look through the forums.) For my name = It just means that I am really a Cave...

What must I do to have you guys stop telling me how stupid I am? As for me saying you are useless, I meant that I looked all through the Hacking/Mod forum thread thing (all the pages), and found nothing to help me.

That's all fine and dandy, but all I get is a small amount of information on custom avatars. If I try to uncheck the "Do not use avatar" option, nothing happens. BTW, thanks for the help so far :D

Oh..... I played the first one, downloaded the second, but saw the beginning was the same, so I just thought it was all the same. I'll try it now.

I think it's just a quick, easy way to draw a nose that won't be in the way. I mean, think about it. If she had a normal nose, the drawing would be all messed up. And BTW, (I'm not being racist here or anywhere else), why is Sue black, while the rest are all white?

It's confusing, because in the facebox it's blue, but in the game it's green.
