Ahh, you don't understand how the Void works >=D
It's not a magic like Fire or Ice, the Void is a place, and acts as a prison for the worst demons possible. Lowell's been experimenting with this new art of magic and usually opens a Tear and lures out a demon with some ball of excess magic, which he could toss on a target, making an enemy 'sugar coated' to the demon. >=D
'Course, he can't do anything big like summon a huge, powerful demon that could destroy the world, as he doesn't really control it and it'd end up killing him, as he wouldn't really have a way to fight it besides summon an even stronger demon...{Loop...}
