Would it be possible to make a weapon sprite change the character sprite when equipped?
For example, my profile picture was taken from a mod I've now put on hold. That purple pixel in between the shoulder and head is supposed to be the handle of a sword in it's scabbard, and my idea was that when the sword weapon was equipped, the purple pixel would disappear
Cave Story is a ripoff of Minecraft because you can walk around in caves
Cave Story but with RE SKINNED weapons and RE SKINNED characters
