I'm going to sticky this in hopes that more people will use the channel.

If you want autovoice (to be able to speak in the channel), and there are no ops on at the time, post in this thread with your IRC nick. And be sure to register your nick before asking for autovoice.

Complains about the voice system anyway.

Anyone who reads my comments in the beginning of this thread should ignore them because #curlybrace is just like #doukutsu, only with active ops.

Yup, it's just about as active as #doukutsu ever was, the only difference being that some of the active ones are ops.

Also it may have partially killed #doukutsu, but that's beside the point.

#doukutsu is pretty much dead.

I never saw the point in making multiple channels for such a small community. But that's just life I guess.

Whenever I am on at night (when most people are supposedly on) there is still like nobody except Noxid, Gir, and Celtic (who doesn't even talk :p). What am I doing wrong.

I don't always log onto IRC, but when I do it's between 7 and 9 PM Pacific time.

(If there's any activity at all, it usually goes until 10 or 11 PM)

I stay if it's active, leave immediately if it's not, maybe 5 times a night.

The past few nights have been pretty active, we should keep up the trend.

What you're doing wrong is logging onto IRC between what is 1 and 4pm for most users, aka the time nobody is online.
Try 3 to 6 hours later.

Are you sure? I go on sometimes from 10PM-1AM (EST). I would think it was only my luck since I usually don't go on very frequently in the first place.

I've barely been to irc this summer. Sure I log in quite often, see that everyone's away, then leave. But doesn't count and well all know it. I'll try to get on more often.
