Hello - I just stumbled upon this forum today because I was looking for a physical release of the Cave Story sound track. I LOVE this game. I was then directed to you bc you put out the vinyl edition, and I am curious if that is still available at all? Was there ever a cassette release? That would be very cool. Thank you! Ely

You need to understand the opposite viewpoint: you are less prone the outburst when people don't engage with you. If people feel that it is too difficult to engage with you then they won't. Your girlfriend took the easy way out that everyone else would have done.

However from experience I can say that unless you talk about your issues then they will simmer. You quite frankly should have talked about whatever put you in that mood in order to get it off your chest BEFORE it got to that point.

A friend told me to rewrite my file to Base64 code into a function that takes a string as input and outputs it's Base64 equivalent, so here it is! http://pastebin.com/2p6dgagP

isnt the point of base64 to stringify data, if its already a string then.......... ... ... .

@Noxid: I'm pretty sure that the point of base64 is to take any form of data (binary data, strings, whatever) and losslessly convert it to an absolutely safe ascii string format that can be then used in binary unsafe applications. So a string of one encoding type can be easily and losslessly transmitted through the medium of another for example. You've seen base64 strings in url query strings, right? That's an example of this.

@Noxid my original code took a whole file as input and converted it to Base64, my friend simply wanted me to rewrite that code into a function (so it's easier to use / reuse) that takes a string as input rather than a whole file.

You do know how EV training with SOS battles works, right? If not, here's how:
1. Give the mon you're training the Power item that corresponds with the stat you want to train.
2. (optional) Infect the mon with Pokerus.
3. Go find a mon that gives the EV you want.
4. Get it to low HP, like with False Swipe, and then use an Adrenaline Orb.
5. Keep killing the help that appears for maybe 10 or so new arrivals if you have Pokerus (I can't recall how high the EV gain scales off the top of my head), more if you don't.
6. Either get rid of both mons on the field or just run away.
7. That EV should now be maxed out, which is shown by it sparkling.
