So... What're your guys opinion on chocolate covered raisins?

The last time I saw chocolate covered raisins, they were from at least five-year-old Halloween candy. My mother wanted me to eat them up, but when we opened the box and pulled one of the candies out, there were a bunch of tiny white bugs crawling all over it. Needless to say, I avoid chocolate covered raisins for a reason.

@Random-storykeeper: You were kinda asking for it. You can't leave chocolate or fruit lying around for 5 years and expect it to still be good at the end. I personally would have thrown it out (actually to be honest I would have eaten it five years ago when I got it). I got a caterpillar in a bean once when I was a kid, yet I still eat the stuff. Man up already.

@andwhyisit lol yeah...we had a mantra in our home to basically not let anything go to waste, regardless of how old it is. It eventually died out and now we just get less and throw out really old inedible things. I hear bugs are more reliable to eat than, say, berries, and they're supposed to be a good source of protein. I must...BE THE MAN.
