Can someone explain the whole Internal Percussion thing to me again? More specifically, if I wanted to get from an Internal Percussion version to a "fixed" version (that sounds the same in OM and CS) how would I do that?

Just open the org file in orgmaker and change the drum instruments to the hardcoded drum assignments used by Cave Story.

To sound exactly the same between OM and CS you need the first 6 drum assignments to be as follows and in this exact order:

Bass01
Snare01
HiClose
HiOpen
Tom01
Per01

Drums 7 and 8 MUST remain unassigned.

If you are doing this for anything other than custom org files then you really should just download the fixed versions from the site, because short of messing up somewhere there is effectively zero difference you can make to the end result by doing it yourself.

That's what I thought too! So on Tuesday and throughout the week I used a bit more than my usual plenty and dried my hair in a different way, and it's been working out a lot more somehow. Maybe it's the extra amount, maybe it's the drying method, I'm doing both because okay hair is a rare and precious blessing. :3

That aside, it always makes me happy when people I haven't seen in a while are doing well. ^.^

So... for awhile I've had an idea for a minimod (basically 2 small map ideas, something I can ACTUALLY FINISH, you know?), and I'm pretty sure it would be the last mod I'd ever make (other than an update?). Since It's been a year since I've done this, why don't I film and commentate the entire thing? A resource for newcomers to see a mod from start to finish?

I'd edit some stuff to keep things running so it's not just me fixing my own bugs/drawing and placing sprites, but imagine, if I just casually recorded it and talked about what I was doing (but not slowing down the process TOO much), it could be a couple hours of tutorials. Switching and combining spritesheets, replacing org files, basic weapon customization, applying an assembly patch... it would be a basic dip into it all.
