I watched this recently, and found it very touching. It is, truly, one of the best speeches ever given.
(Yes, I am aware it is just a scene from The Great Dictator. However, Charlie Chaplin wrote this himself over the course of a month. The reason it took him so long, he says, is that so "none of the word can be ignored".)
