I can't pick one--they're all awesome. Well...except Itoh and Jack, they're kinda useless...but Curly, King, Misery, Balrog, Ballos, and Date are all among my favourites.

Boss:Balrog!(He is just Plain Funny!)

Weapon:Blade- It decimates bosses like no other, and I had to become one with it so I became to respect it very much.
Boss: The Undead Core- The music was awesome to is, all the havoc of Misery flying around summoning hordes of enemes, Sue's constant nagging and trying to smash you, and the Core doing it's best to land hits as well. A chaotic fight that I loved.
Music: Balrog's Theme
Enemy: Gravekeeper
Character:
Male: King- He's too cool, died fighting trying to save Toroko but got cheap shotted by Misery =/ (a distant 2nd would be Jack and his cool pose)
Female: Toroko- Saw the good in Sue and trusted her, she sadly dies..-_- (I hated having to fight Toroko, and when I first played I hoped there was some way to avoid having to actually kill her..)

Male: Quote, hes as quiet as Gordon Freeman yet somehow you can tell what hes feeling, this sort of attachment to the characters is one of the best things about Cave Story.
Female: Curly, shes a strong female lead that isn't afraid to put herself at risk to protect the ones she cares for, reminds me of Samus Aran from Metroid

Weapon: Blade. Super powerful, to bad that it can't kill the Ma pignon.
Boss: The Misery, Sue, Undead Core section. The Balrog comes a close second.
Music: I play with the sound off normally, but I do like the Grasstown theme as well as the Balrog's music.
Enemy: Don't really have a favorite, but the most annoying is definitely the homing fish. I'm finding that they make the once easy boss battles extremely difficult on my 3hp run. :eek:

Male: King. He's just plain cool and his blade is plain awesome.
Female: Probably Curly. I enjoy watching her use the machine gun on all the gaudies while heading to the core battle.

Weapon: Snake
The Snake is in my opinion the most useful. There's almost nothing the Spur can do that the Bubbler, Nemesis, or Blade can't do. And before you argue, the L2 Blade CAN beat the Spur in the brute force category. Just get REAL close...

Boss:...I liked all the Bosses except Ironhead.

Music:...I love all the music (with a couple of exceptions), but I'd have to pick "Gravity"

Weapon: good ol' Polar Star — Its easy to use, and its my go-to weapon in general
Boss: undead core and co. — IMO more intense than the ballos' fight, it's so chaotic and the music makes you rush and mess up it's great!
Music: Living waterway — it's also my favorite stage! It's just fun and the music is watery, too!
Enemy: midorin — you can ride on them! And their faces are funny!

Characters:
Male: megane — he's just cool (you know it)
Female: Misery — uh I'm not sure why, but I just like misery a whole lot!

Woooow, this thread was made about the time I VERY FIRST played Cave Story... now I can pretend I've been around this long! Too bad half the people in this thread probably don't even post anymore, lol...

Level 3 is the coolest thing ever, and level 2 is incredible for most bosses.
Runner up would be Spur, since it makes me feel like Mega Man.

Boss: Monster X!
A cat driving an awesome machine with an awesome name. The Undead Core's awesome, too, making you fight off several characters at once and having awesome music.

Music: Running Hell
So badass. There's a ton of songs I love in the game like the Final Battle, the Way Back Home, White, and the main theme, and really everything else, but this is my absolute favorite.

Enemy: The Door
There's only one.. and it's awesome. It reminds me of classic Zelda for some reason.

Character:
Male: Mahin
He's just fat and adorable. That wiiiiiide :3 face is too much.

Female: Sue
I like how she's feisty and really tries to get things done on her own. She's also one of the coolest Mimiga without even being a Mimiga to begin with... somehow.

Runner up would be Jenka; the dog quest is one of my favorite parts of the game, having her casually expand the storyline of the game, and you have to imagine she'd have been SO badass when she was younger, if she were as close to Ballos' powerful as the game hints.
