yellow pink and blue vertical lines have appeard on my laptop

the title ex-planes all i know whats causing it its the laptop screen or the grafics card. any one else had these problems well welcome to a agony aunt thread.

 

Something kinda similar has happened to me a few times, except the lines were different colors. I just restart the computer and it works fine after that. I suspect the reason is a crucial bit getting corrupted somewhere.

 

yup tried rebooting and it still wont go go !

 

I had these problems on my laptop. The best engineers at an Informatics College Department could not fix it. They pulled it apart, which made it work for a few days than the problem started over

My mother works there, her collegues were trying to fix the lappy.

 

cool... im still at school yups still im y11 almost there till y12 when i can accesses you tube the school i go to blocks you-tube till you y12 which sucks any way i got full marks in my geography catering and all the compulsory subjects all Cs except maths *boo !!!* i got a f last time and this time i got a e this time whoop whoop at least i tried.

 

yay i got my laptop back it was real fast this with was with pcworlds knowhow team instead of tech-guys.my advice is don't use tech-guys their service is appalling and they take for ever to repair your laptop and all they do is reset your hard drive.
