Take over several Eastern European countries, probably. But I say explodium is a bad choice, since it would only take one guy to tap the staute with a red spike and it all goes "Bfffffppgphfglph." That's the best way I can describe Quote exploding, sorry guys.
Hey Noxid, if we made a 7-foot-tall gold statue it would wilt into the ground. Gold is very malleable. I suggest a 7-foot-tall statue made out of his eneimes.

 

But Kanpachi has no enemies. He's most likely eliminated anything and everything that's dumb enough to mess with him. Misery's not stupid, and that's why she leaves him to fish in the plantation.

And you're right about the gold. Pure is too soft, and debased gold is unworthy of a Kanpachi statue. What about platinum? T'would shine like a beacon to mankind.

Noxid, I think the statue should be made of fish. It's the only sensible thing. Perhaps platinum or silver plated fish, just for style. And we make it 150 feet tall, and replace the Statue of Liberty with it.

Both excellent ideas. I especially like the silver plated fish, perfect blend of style and symbolism.

I was watching a video on youtube of some guy doing a 3hp hell run with polar star. Then I got to thinking, hey, that doesn't look so hard. I bet I could do it with the bubbler! Then I tried a few times, and got to halfway to heavy press before I got to thinking "Hm, if I actually do this, it'd make a decent video". Then I thought "It would be 1800% more awesome if it was actually Kanpachi instead of quote, because Kanpachi could own hell with whatever weapon he wants".

So I did this. But don't expect a 3hp bubbler video anytime soon >.>
If I ever do find the time, I'm gonna throw in some text edits for awesome+.

 

One step closer to that mod that's never gonna get made, unless someone's actually making it...

Also, I don't think I ever uploaded that hacked EXE, I'm sure Fabulous got it but...

MrFist, you should post that stuff in the Modding/Hacking section as well, so it's easier for peeps to find it. You won't keep it in your signature forever, after all.

Oh, that ol' thing? It's the (current) title screen select icon for my mod. I'll probably pick something more appropriate before I release the demo. I think t'was first shown on the dev blog. There should be no adverse effect if you just copy the image though. One problem that could arise is if you paste it onto a 16 colour pbm, since I used a 24bit bmp. Kanpachi's eyes are something like #050505, so they get bumped to the background colour. The dark part of the handle of the knife stayed a seperate colour though (At least when I copypasted it into the MyChar from my unmodded copy) so you can just use that to fix it up.

 

I'm going to revive this topic because I believe that the time is right for Kanpachi's greatness to be expounded upon once again.

I'd also like to mention that there's a Kanpachi Mod just waiting to be made from all this material... Here's a thought, what would a Kanpachi mod be like?

He worked in the shadows though, and controlled all of everything. At least, until Kanpachi came along.

 

He's the hero who set the stage (and set up everything else) for Quote to come in and complete his masterminded work.
