I just love those goddamn caves

 

I first played the game because my brother played it on the PSP and said it was awesome. I replayed it because my first playthrough was fun and very compelling with very obvious replay value. Numerous replays showed there were a bunch of different items, paths, and extra bits of dialogue I could trigger by doing different things, and this kept my playing the game over and over again. The gameplay is really fluid and the music is amazing, which kept me interested in playing the game for a long time.

 

tbh its because this games really replayable. theres so many different variables you can apply to keep it from getting stale.

I play Cave Story so I don't forget.
My modern existence was built on a foundation made by playing a lot of Kirby and Cave Story.

That, and it's just a masterpiece on it's own.

 

Pixel has a distinct art style that pleases my face holes. I do appreciate now more than ever that it’s a fairly short game on play throughs subsequent to the first run.

They are sometimes abused in a memetic fashion and have very tiny details be included in order to be labeled as CSBDs.
