Greater than Inception or Primer?

I've never seen Primer, but Inception is better than I robot, yes.

Primer left me shitscared, and I had no clue why.

It's pretty short, at 1:11, but it's incredibly complex.

When you think about it he saw so much freaky shit on that flying island that it all seems like a really long acid trip. But then again, he had amnesia which could've made him think it's all natural. Or maybe not. Maybe he just hallucinated everything after some point. Or maybe not.
He's a robot, he's not capable of hallucinating or taking acid. Although, he was capable of feelings...maybe he was able to hallucinate. Who knows.

See WR, ya gotta realize that's the same for all video game characters. Look at Mario. He eats mushrooms, fights pirahna plants, talks to mushroom headed people, and rides a magical dragon. Video games are surreal. Since it's normal, the characters don't usually go crazy. Amnesia or not.

Mario is a terrible game for children. He takes mushrooms to get strong, he jumps on turtles for points, and then uses that turtle's shell to bowl down other turtles. Terrible.

I never said I do it. I was just stating a fact :p

Man, it's fun to go off topic in the midst of an off-topic feud between movies.
Actually, it isn't really a feud; it's more of a conversation.
BTW, inception was freakin' awesome. No one can say otherwise. I was in the theatre to watch it. Everyone was groaning at the ending. It was hilarious listening to them.
Kind of an insane plot, though.

If I tell you, it'll spoil the first mind screw.

Also, Inception would have been at least 50% better if it was five seconds longer.

Upon watching Primer? Yeah.

I mean, I pride myself on my ability to reason out those sort of things, and even I didn't get all of Primer on the first viewing.

Mostly because most of the mind screws are highly retroactive (ie, they refer to events which you already saw and drew a different conclusion from, and you don't get a flashback to help trigger your memory). The really huge one redefines over half the movie.

What's amazing about Primer? The director's also the producer and the lead role, and it had a time filmed/time of movie ratio of 2.

TWO. Yeah, hilariously low budget - but it doesn't show!

Quote is a secret ninja ostrich from Nicaragua who retains his sanity by carrying the ashes of a lost loved one securely behind his left ear

He was sent to the island to stop the emissions of harmful epsilon radiation, which were preventing adequate quantities of Stroganoff from being produced
