My only issue is when Bronies have big ass pics in there sigs and feel the urge to post images sayin "LuL Wut?" and "This is how many fucks I give" With Bronies when there in no way affiliated.

Thank goodness immortalshippo doesn't post much anymore.

Anyway, I'm a girl so I technically can't be a brony. I have watched the show on some occasions and I did enjoy it to some degree. (For the record, my favorite is Fluttershy durrhurr).

Do I think it's amazing? Not really. I still don't understand what the hype is about and I'm pretty tired of seeing it everywhere.

Of course, like I've said many times, I shouldn't be one to talk because I like Touhou, which is like the Japanese equivalent of FiM. I use avatars of the characters and sometimes fangasm over stuff, but I'm not a diehard fan though. I'm not gonna make my statuses counting down to game number 1832492432 or saying "LOL SAKUYA PADS CIRNO IS A 9 BALL XD" though. >_>

I'm sure there are plenty of people out there who are tired of seeing Touhou taking up 2/3rds of the front page of gelbooru as much as there are people who are sick of FiM taking up 2/3rds of the front page of furry sites. I guess it doesn't affect me as much because DURRHURR I LOEVE TAOHAO XDDDD

I don't even know the point I was making, nor do I really care anymore.

EDIT: Oh yeah. Another thing I can't stand about the fanbase is the fact that they have to PONY ALL THE THINGS. http://www.fanfiction.net/crossovers/My_Little_Pony/621/
Then again..I guess fans have TOUHOU'D ALL THE THINGS as well. (TF2, for example.)

I'm not a brony.

I don't have a problem with bronies, but the ones that make it their entire life and bring it into almost every conversation they have may get a little irritating (unlike Cultr).

I share a similar opinion.

I don't like it, but I don't go on INSANE RAGES TO STOP THE PONY TAKEOVER! As long as it doesn't actually interfere with anything of mine, im cool with it.
(Random Example)
I was playing ace of spades. Someone built pony stuff. Meh.
I was playing ace of spades. Someone broke my tower for space so they could build more pony stuff. SMASH ALL THE PONIES!

I'm unaware of bronies. Haven't noticed any.

It's not that I don't understand what the hype's all about... I just didn't notice there was a hype.

But I suppose every forum has its mascots...

...

I sometimes frequent a forum where a terrible conflict rages between eggs and ducks. They will never find peace. It seems that here on the CS forums, it is a one-party system. The pony party.

Cultr has had a pony avatar for many weeks now, and sometimes posts images with ponies when they are in no way related to the conversation.

Step 1) Pony's are teh funny
Step 2) Everyone quickly realises this and proceeds to run the serial into the ground as fast as they can possibly manage
Step 3) The furries get on board and make things creepy
Step 4) Popularisation complete, commence the spiralling out of control

They really are almost everywhere now, it's ridiculous

They're related to the conversation in the same way this anime chick I've never seen before is related to the conversation:

Whether or not I choose ponies, it's just a reaction image.
So if you're going to call one reaction image unrelated to the conversation, even if it describes my reaction perfectly, then you have to call all reaction images unrelated to the discussion unless they have perfect relevance.
Have fun with your strictly Cave Story themed reaction images, I'm sure quantity will never be an issue.

This thread has gone from curiosity to prejudice, and fuck that, I'm out.

Sure, except try using the exact same unrelated anime chick every single time. That's where the criticism comes from, not the fact that it's unrelated.

Also, Yakkers, you're actually wrong there. These situations would be analogous only if I were to use images of the show that random chick is from, not that character specifically. And you're also incorrect in the sense that Fab's criticism was not in fact directed at seeing ponies too often. I have used pony reaction images 3 times tops in my entire history of using this forum. His criticism was, actually, about seeing them when they weren't relevant, which I already discussed.

No, I'm not wrong there. You're taking this 100% literally and completely dodging the point, it's just silly.

Bronies vs Anti-bronies.

Is this going to be a thing now? Like the Eggpire vs the Duckpire? Or the British vs the French?

Cause if it does, I want to make it clear right now, I intend to maintain neutral trade with both sides.

I'm no "anti-brony," I'm just caught up in this little discussion here in which I cannot stop posting for the life of me. It's like 4chan, I can't stop replying when each post seems to make no sense to me or seems to avoid my point, because my relative judgment happens to differ.

No, actually, I was paraphrasing JetHawk's post to make a point to Jed. If the conversation is not about ponies, and you post a picture with a pony in it, that part of the picture is irrelevant, but the picture may still apply. For example, discussions about Admiral Ackbar aren't common, but... well. I did not say that posting pictures of ponies is intolerable, I only used it as evidence of your broniness, which is not a crime.
I'm sorry if you're interpreting everything we say as an attack against you, the show you like and the fandom surrounding it. That must be your inner furfag talking. You sound like every bitch on fchan whining about fursecution.
That was criticism aimed directly at you.

I humbly suggest dropping all the heated argument and moving onto a topic that will cause less tension. Let's not spark more drama than we need to.

I never knew how happy I was, until I saw many useless threads in these Forums, created out of enormous boredom. Now I am thankful that I joined these forums to appreciate more what I have.
