What do you think absolutely needs a sequel? Why and how should it be done?

Half-Life 2: Episode 2 needs a sequel. More than any other game in the world.

just gonna say this now

more than anything, mother 3 does not need a sequel
honestly I cannot see the series getting any better than that game, plus it ended in such a way that it was really not set up for a sequel, assuming all the games take place in the same universe

I mean, the ending was open to a LOT of interpretation

Well the 3D game wouldnt be a sequel, it would only be another version of the game. Unless they added a prequel or a sequel to the game then I would call it one.

Another Metroid game? Brilliant! No one's thought of that! Even better, how about it won't be by Team Ninja? GENIUS.

On topic: I can't think of a single game that needs a sequel and doesn't have one in the works.

I said "good" Metroid, and original or not, good is good regardless.
Posting from a PSP sucks....

No, good is entirely opinionated.
Some people don't like the 3D Metroids, oh well. Rest do, however.
Metroid M got both some high and low rewards, but all from different sources, because they all have different tastes. Nothing makes it bad, but it's gotten enough awards and sales to be considered Good, unless you're running on some weird wacko scale of games. {Or just your own opinion of the game}
Replace 'Good' with '2D' or 'Classic', if that's what you're looking for, but you can't say 'Good' because your opinion doesn't equal reality.

Something selling well or getting awards does not mean it is good. Awards are based on opinions, and as you pointed out opinion doesn't equal reality. And sales are not a noteworthy way of defining whether something is good or not.
