What is your opinion on bad fanfiction?

Its very difficult to find GOOD fanfiction on Fanfiction.net. The only one I have read that has very good writing in it is Kissed by a Rose. I'm not saying that is the only fanfic I like, i'm just saying its one of the very few well written fanfictions on there.

I've been on The Half World before, and I swear to god some of the stuff on there is ridiculous. I'm just wondering if you guys know about any crappy fics out there. Seriously, I have seen shit like "How Videl Discovered Her Abortion Fetish".

I haven't read any bad or good fanfiction (unless K;SS counts)

All I can say about it is that if you don't like it, don't read it.

I find them very entertaining and way more tolerable than actually 'good' fanfiction

Jesus Christ, that was fucking insane. Whoever wrote that must hate that show.

Also,the dude has a few more stories like that about killing children's show characters.

 

I don't like Cringe Comedy that much, so I usually don't read any.

Alot of gaming creepypastas are bad fanfiction with a bunch of HIPUR REULISTIK BLUDDD thrown in.

 

First off, my experience with Bad Fanfiction over the years would mostly be from Fanfiction.net and mainly Beast Boy Raven fanfics as well as some Ed, Edd, n Eddy, Kids Next Door, and Transformers one. And not one to brag, but I'm pretty sure I myself have made quite a number of bad ones ^_~

In general though, if you enjoy whatever the fanfic's TRYING to accomplish, chances are you'll at least laugh in reluctant aggrement and enjoyment of the story. In some cases however it's just so bad that it's embarrassing as hell to read and ya just end up clickin' out of the story.

Oh, and the Bad Creepypastas fad I have to attribute to YuriofWind and Retsupurae's readings of them. Before that yeah, there were obviously bad ones, but nowadays people purposefully try to make bad ones on a regular basis...and it's...pretty annoying actually. A good Creepypasta is good to me.

Course...I grew up with the Tails Doll myth before Creepypasta was even a thing...
