buffalo is an animal, a place (used as an adjective to describe the animal), and a verb.
So his sentence, consisting of buffalo 5 times, is grammatically correct.

But it's spelled the same every time, so I don't see how it creates confusion (unlike you're, your, and they're, their, there). They also all stem from the original word Buffalo (the animal). It seems like a non-argument.

Weirdest context thing about english to me is that I can talk about the future in the present tense.

FOR EXAMPLE:

:momo: and :muscledoc: are snuggled up in a dark place.

:momo:: Will I see you tomorrow?
:muscledoc:: Afraid not, sweetie -- I'm in Jamaica.

Isn't that only in spoken english, and wouldn't it technically be incorrect written?

I don't think that's grammatically correct, as the :momo: is forgetting the crucial "then" at the end of his sentence.
It's sort of a colloquially accepted shortening.
