• Hey everyone happy Christmas Eve we're aware of what's happened with the source code so to keep this simple absolutely don't post it on the site or use it to make mods with (it's not particularly preferable toward this end anyway) and tread lightly in general until we see how this settles, thanks to all and have a great holiday season -DT

Man, if you own WiiFit, you should get made fun of yourself. Before Nintendo invented WiiFit, God invented something much greater, something with better graphics, something that's compatible with everyone, and it's free: outside.
Hahaha, don't even get me started on WiiFit....
You know how many people bought the stupid thing, played with it for a month, and then buried it somewhere to never see the light of day again?
Need a hint?
Try counting the people who didn't buy it....
It'll be easier :D

Story: Pixel put them in the game so that anyone who didn't notice the incredibley obvious things would be able to see them.

Yeah, like when I called them "One of the basics of literature, the mysterious and super-natural guide"
I learned that in school ^.^

Huh?

Never said that.
I'm simply saying where their origin came from. Why Pixel even put them in Cave Story.
Because of such origins, I don't see much of a story behind them...

He's Fire, not X-Calibar.

So just wait until he's bored, then it'll happen.

The Cthulhu before the Gum Room does help you, right?

You mean, right before the room?
All he does is tell you that the fans either aren't on, or you should hold jump button to move further.
I wouldn't go as far as to call that help....

Hey, fire's hot.
Was that helpful?

I've gotta give them the point for saving Curly, but where does the suspense part come into play...?

Thank you, I've taken notice myself of my own attractiveness.

There may be more that one Cthulthu, as one can be found in the Titular abode and beneath the Gum Base door in Grass Town.

What? Titular? I think you mean "Cthulhu's". I'm not sure which translation you're using...
Anyway, way to resurrect a thread that died peacefully. That doesn't happen much around here as it is.

Theory threads can't die, don't you see?
Unless a definite answer is found, it just goes on and on.
People are entitled to voice their opinions, thus the creation of this thread.

Don't you think that the fact that the thread was left to die suggests that there is no way a definite answer can be found?

New members will come, and just like Captain they too will wonder about Cthulhu, and so this thread shall live.
We're not the only ones here....

Instead of posting their random, unimportant thoughts, maybe they could just read a STAGGERING 8 PAGES.

'Titular' is a word that means it refers to the title. Such as with the book 'The Cat in the Hat', the Cat in the Hat is the titular character because the book is named after him.

If memory serves, the Holy Grounds credits lists Cthulhu as being indigenous residents (plural), I'll need to look up the actual game script in Japanese though to check whether or not a distinction was made in the original text (singular-plural distinctions in Japanese are rare though), it could have just been the Translator assuming that there are multiple though.
