I disagree. The whole "Ben Drowned" thing has been done to death so unbelievably much that it ceased to be scary and has PRACTICALLY become a meme at this point (which is awful).

Now he just looks like a statue of link with a funny looking face.

Yeah, it really isn't scary anymore.

It was especially annoying when he became a popular creepypasta character. He has a fuckton of fangirls who like to ship him with Jeff the killer, and generally be obnoxious about it.

Also, floormasters and wallmasters creep me out too. Hands always creep me out as enemies, for some reason.

 

Most people were more freaked out by Mimi's transformation, but i thought that was more silly than anything else. Those hands just sorta appear if you just went to the bottom of the river, the music falling silent when you were halfway underwater and then being replaced by that sound

Talking about Pokemon, there was also that girl with the elevator in X&Y. I wasn't really spooked out by that, but it was still really wierd why they'd put that in the game.

 

I was pretty young when I first played Super Paper Mario so I kinda was scared by Mimi. Not at first, but when you're running away and you realize she's behind you, it looks quite horrifying to a 10(?) year old

You know what was funny? I haven't seen her in my Pokemon X game until after I beat the Elite Four. And I was creeped out a bit from what she said. I later find that many people have been seeing her like as soon as they got access to Northern Lumiose City.

 

Flowey from UnderTale made me almost cry. Saying anything else would probably be considered spoilers, since it's an awesome game.

They were the main thing that held me back from playing Zelda at a younger age. But the question is, which is worse: OOT redeads or WW redeads?

Both have their special brand of creep, so it's a tough call.

The WW freak me out, but so do the OOT ones.

They're both kind of creepy, although I remember WW's completely freezing Link in place and that was kind of weird but w/e.
On a side note they are the biggest pain to deal with ever
