Alright so I tried the demo. I have a few problems.
I know that you documented 'New Game' as glitched, but you really should fix it.
The myChar looks kinda sloppy overall. The main look of him is fine, but interacting with objects and looking up or down makes him look weird-ish compared to the default look.
The enemies are hard to tell apart from the background. I think you should've taken their advice and changed it.

I don't think I got very far, I couldn't find a weapon. I really tried searching wherever I could go, is there something I'm missing?

Did you see the old robot? If you examine him he has a gun. The enemies will probably be changed.

Oops, okay. I actually didn't access that part. If I were you, I *might* want to put a sparkle there. Your call, though.

As for glitches, the Save Point in the Labyrinth-like area [Oh no, I found the same problem in the main area] used <KEY instead of <PRI, I believe. You should probably change that. Also the Dragon in the energy capsule room re-appears if you enter the room again. I'm going to assume that wasn't intentional since he clearly flew off a second ago... Also under the terminal in the main area, there is a bat suspended in mid air.
I like the "steamer" weapon. Just different enough for me to have fun with it. I really like level 3 for some strange reason. And didn't you call the demo "Robotcave"?

Ok I put the energy capsule thing in and I'm stuck again.

So I played up until the terminal activation and got stuck.

Let's see...Aside from what COOL said,

- I think the "Steamer" should be fixed so that Lv3 is fastest. Carrotlord's physics editor does a good job of this I think.
- The background is really annoying in the first area.
- It's hard to tell that you can interact with the opening in the small upper room.
- After giving the energy capsule to the terminal, checking it again brings up the same dialogue as before - it's offline and needs a capsule.
- It might be a good idea to add in some context at the beginning of the game. Even something simple like "Where am I" would be better.

- The difficulty is pretty balanced.
- There's lots of exploration, at least in the first map.
- I actually enjoyed playing and wanted to see more.

Are you going to fix anything else? You should at least fix the Save Points, that's easy.
Also this should probably be moved to The Showcase.

First off, you spawn at 13, 13. In a wall.

Second, event #0099 doesn't exist. Use event #0107 instead.

I think I fixed all the glitches. The new game works,the terminal should work too and the dragon dissapears. Also fixed the <KEY/<PRI.

Nice, I do actually like it. Maybe Matt should look at it, he seems to be a good judge of this kind of stuff.
Also, if I could make an insignificant recommendation, maybe you should add some incentive to explore the entire area, since you bothered to make so many dead ends. Like a Life Capsule, or a weapon upgrade of sorts. Sometimes the level felt so barren.

Just judging from the screenshots I can guess he'd say that it's still pretty repetitive and empty looking
I mean there's only basically two colours and some undecorated walls/floors. The little spot in the top left looks alright but inside the caves is rather bland.

Like Noxid said, the top left corner is pretty good, but I'll add that those Core room blocks placed in the middle of things at different positions seem a bit out of place.

RobotCave sounds kind of silly. I think we need to see more of the story before a good title can be made.
