That's interesting, Kazuma looks as though he's surprised, as well as crying.

 

Kazuma reminded me of "Brock with eyes open"...

Kind of... spooky?

 

Poor Kazuma went on the internet and saw all the Sue......fanart... ._.

That protagonist looks like the robot in the core, so I'll take a wild guess and say that this mod takes place in the past, or perhaps chronicles an old robot waking up after the events of Cave Story...?

Give us those delicious cook- er, details- as soon as you have 'em, Anuken!

Yeah, but normally when someone makes a mod thread they normally put in the first post what the story will be about generally.



But, be a rebel and all that. Don't tell anyone the story and surprise everyone.

the mod's name is called "An Unnamed Mod", too! Coincidence?
Anyway, it's a cool video, and it might give you some ideas if it's not the above two.

The picture is cool.

Just a suggestion, though: the protagonist looks too much like Quote with a badly-fitting cosplay robot head. Perhaps make the sprite more broken-down and basic?

Looking at that picture makes me think I need to go on another game design rant. This one on aesthetic.

 

I agree with Matt. The tiles/background are too repetitive and draw way too much attention from the gameplay.

 

Kazuma, don't join other fanbases! You know stumbling upon some creepy imagery is very much possible when you check on other fanbases...
