Under 2 minutes Sanctuary run on Switch

Any tips on how I can lower my time on running sanctuary? I have super missiles, snake, and blade. I always seem to need to use the life jar shortly after running through the minus 10 spikes to save time by not using the time bomb. How can I conserve my health? My best atm is 3'20"9.

How can I conserve my health?

Here's basically the one piece of advice that is vital to getting below 3 minutes with a more optimal health: PRAY to RNGsus that you don't get scalped by the random falling block bullshit in B2.

And in my case, the converse is true I can't get below 5'40" so far, and I think if I keep trying I might bust my brain stem.
