• Hey everyone happy Christmas Eve we're aware of what's happened with the source code so to keep this simple absolutely don't post it on the site or use it to make mods with (it's not particularly preferable toward this end anyway) and tread lightly in general until we see how this settles, thanks to all and have a great holiday season -DT

I'm thinking it was either the Cthulthlu or King Arthur.

I highly doubt that, because during the King's time, they probably had ways of getting around and didn't even think about leaving an expensive piece of equipment for a random lost person.
Not the Cthulthlu either, because they seem more apathetic than benevolent.

I don't think it would have been Booster either.

Maybe Quote or Curly dropped it when they first visited the island.

It was Mysterious Computer Robot, doncha know? The guy in the waterway cabin who 'speaks' to you, the loudspeaker in Hell guy. He was Quote's 'pair' in the sense that he was built in the same fashion as Quote was. I shall call him...

Kamma!

There was no loudspeaker in Hell, someone was talking right to Quote's mind.

It was the Goddess. Of course, who else could be that?

Like I've said before, the tchulthu are apathetic. They wouldn't care if Quote died (ran out of batteries). And there really is no proof of who the messenger was. But I think it might be Ballos because he sort of went insane and might have sent those messenges to Quote.

The map system could have been left there by whoever was once monitoring the Egg Corridor?

Due to just how little you find out about the Cthulthlu you can't say they're apathetic and they wouldn't care about Quote dying.

If they're apathetic, why did they pull Curly out of the water?

The motives of the tchulthu don't seem so good in the end. Sure, one saved Curly from the water but liked it better when she was an amnesiac. And besides, who wouldn't pull someone out of the water if they found that someone? Maybe they are this way because of the past?

Any way, I guess not all of them are bad, because that would be discrimination, but the ones Quote have met generally are this way.

I think that the Cthulthu are the human remnants of the red flower war turned nomad. That would explain why they know about the robots and why some don't care much about what happens to the robots. That would also explain why they have stayed on the island. Banding with the Mimigas would brand them as traitors.

*Smacks forehead*
Now why didn't I think of that...
Makes the most sense to me.

Oh and maybe at least one of them was montering the corridor. I still can't really connect them with the mapmaker. Probably an unrevealed tchulthu

Sure, that makes sense about the Cthulhu.

But yeah, it says nothing about the map device.

It was most likely narration direct to the player.

So much was left behind by the humans such as computers, teleporters, power generators, etc. Could be anyone.
