Should I add content from the html manuals?

  • Yes, but split the content into several pages under "Game Info"

I have been thinking of adding content from the html manuals that come packaged with cave story.

Good idea? Bad idea? You decide.

EDIT:
Oh and when I say html manuals I am talking about this:

I see nothing wrong with this idea.

However, I can't decide which poll option would be the best, mainly because I'm not sure which HTML you're talking about.

Em... isn't that a manual for Cave Story that was made by Pixel?

Correct me if I'm wrong, cause I think you would need his permission to include his work in the site lol.

Yeah I'm paranoid rofl.

But... honestly....the manual's got nothing much. Sorry Pixel-sama........ the contents on the site is enough already. So no need for the hassle to ask permission yet contacting him time to time like this may tighten our bond to this master!

Um, if you're hosting Cave Story on the site it won't be a permission problem to include the manual which is part of the original Cave Story package anyways.

But I am not hosting it, I am linking to it, just like the original tribute site did.

Speaking of which I need to fix the cave story download link. Pixel's site redo broke nearly every cave story download link on the internet. He renamed the "storage" folder to "binaries" btw, changing http://homepage2.nifty.com/rochet/storage/dou_1006.zip into http://homepage2.nifty.com/rochet/binaries/dou_1006.zip, and http://hp.vector.co.jp/authors/VA022293/storehouse.html to http://hp.vector.co.jp/authors/VA022293/binaries/

What about the deluxe package, then? That's not on Pixel's site.

How about hosting the downloads yourself? Like on MediaFire or something... =/

That way, the links wouldn't need changing unless you relocate the hosted file or something. Upload it on a site that doesn't have a time limit for each file you host. (likeMediaFire)

Hoho I love shameless plugging. xD

If he were going to host the downloads himself, why not host them on the same server as the web page?
