Hey everyone, pleased to meet you.

I found out about cave story modding and the cave story forum after watching some cave story mod/modding videos. I'm currently working on a mod of my own, and hopefully it will be finished some time before summer break.

That's all I've got to say (other than PolarStarGames is god, probs Noxid too).
Welcome. I hope you enjoy your stay! :3

Dude, are you really going to be like that on profile feeds just because of a mistake neither of us made?

1001 replies! My word. =o

I'm not sure what happened, but you don't seem so bad, so hopefully things work out.

It's not to be nasty to you, it's trying to avoid making any more mistakes.

You're not solving the problem
You're trying to prevent the problem by creating more problems

...Then what *CAN* I do?
As of now, I am currently panicking about my solution to a mistake made when I panicked about a mistake.
That's probably not a good thing.

Like a normal person, it's good to actually talk to people
You seem to have the idea that making mistakes is a bad thing, when in reality it's really important because it helps you learn a lot.
Don't be afraid to make mistakes. I mean, have you seen some of my old projects? But I haven't become a shut-in because of them - they've made me a better person.

I haven't seen some of your old projects, but I'd panic if anyone knew how much of a mess some of mine were.
I did learn from them, in the technical sense(word$ is not a substitute for a proper parser. word$ is not a substitute for a proper parser...).
And after realizing what a piece of rubbish it was, I was kind of wary of releasing things.
I am happy that AFAIK no copies still exist in the wild.
But I'll go through with what you said, because it sounds a lot better than panicking.
...I panic way too much, it seems...

Sometimes it hurts when you make a mistake (and sometimes it doesn't). Don't sweat it. Everyone does it and it will do nothing but improve you.

To all the people who make threads like this
No one cares that you're back probably and even if anyone cares that you're back the fact that you are is not an amazing revelation that is worth having a discussion about

Hello. Most people probably don't remember me; I was pretty active about a year ago. I'll be lurking, mostly.
