For best first post, I would like to nominate my first post. Forgive me for my lack of modesty, but I'm not sure how many people had their first post be a a complete mod with just a few bugs. While I am touched that Dunc2403 nominated my mod for the best, I am not nominating mine for the best mod of the year because I agree that WTF Story is without a doubt the best mod of the year. If JNR won, then MagicDoors would get all the credit for something that he really only worked on about 20% of. No offense if you ever read this dude, but I found your climax, final boss, and ending to be an unsatisfactory let down. I am NOT nominating this for best thread or TL;DR post either. Just simply best first post. I mean, it qualifies since it was still 2011 when I posted it right?

When you say best self picture, you mean avatars are that which qualify for this category? If so, then I would like to nominate my avatar for this category. Maybe it won't win, but I think it's worth a try.

As for best unexpected return, Shmitz takes this hands down.

I believe you are one of two people on the forums to have done that (Carrotlord being the other) and Carrotlord's was in 2010 as I recall, so good call.

Really? Well, I think there should be such a category. If one either pre-exists, or is created, then I nominate my avatar for that category.

 

I agree with everything DoubleThink said except the category for best signature/avatar/whatever. These aren't permanent, and so they're difficult to remember/link to. And we already have a wonderful thread or two dedicated to just that, so why bring the Kanpachis down steal their thunder?

No. I already told people to nominate themselves, because people are much more likely to remember their own deeds than those of others. I don't really care if we end up with some bad nominations, since if they're bad, no one will vote for them. I believe I one at least thing I nominated myself for last year, or at least got significant votes.

 

It's pretty dumb when people nominate themselves for everything though.

Noxid's should be something like Best MagicDoors Insult or something. It's great though, because it's insulting me too! It should win EVERYTHING! (Feel free to replace the word "insult" with anything else that fits.)

This contest would give me personal satisfaction, but Sweet Bro and Hella Jeff is not something the whole forums is a big fan of. I'd have a hard time choosing anyway, though Noxid's art was better worse, I gotta say.
