Maybe the Gau-THERE IS A TELEPORTER RETURNING BACK TO THE LABYRINTH MAIN SECTION SOMEWHERE AT THE BOTTOM HALF OF THAT CAVE-di put the boulder there.

Because the Gaudi's are super geniuses and they knew to wait until Quote was out of sight and/or had used the other Teleporter, so as to preserve the gameplay

 

The teleporter was disabled from launching outside signals until Quote connected it with the Plantation's teleporter by getting knocked out by the Droll going back after escaping prison (and probably death) and connecting it to the labyrinth which the closest working source was the Teleporter in the shop /./ Tell me if I'm wrong

 

You're wrong. the game says there's no power to it, so it couldn't have received a signal from Arthur's house. Yeah, you can't connect to the Labyrinth from the Plantation.

And why do the teleporters from the plantation to Arthur's house and Grasstown not work until Quote using them? Despite the fact that the one to Grasstown was used before but only as a one way. Simply because Quote has the magic touch on teleporters. He can hack them to work all the time. He couldn't use the one in the Labyrinth to Arthur's house though because it was broken and booster had to fix it.

 

You'd think he could hack the password for Egg No. 00, though.

 

He didn't want to try, sure he could've helped Sue out but he knew she had bigger and better things coming for her if they didn't escape.

 

Also, he's amnesiac. And she didn't even ask him to try to do it.

Actually, pretty sure he was still thinking:
"Where the hell am I!?! There's freakin' talking rabbits!!!"

 

It's weird how Quote knows what rabbits are, but not Mimigas. If he really didn't have any idea what Mimgas are, that's almost undeniable proof that there are no Mimigas on the surface. Unless he doesn't know what rabbits are, too.
