This mindset's more of a detriment to your cred than his video could ever be

I Redid the level design to make it start out easier.

Am I the only one who had no issues except for when the critters were on the one-block platforms? Yeah, putting those critters there so you HAVE to get hurt unless you're ultra-fabulous is not a good idea.

The update looks good, and shows a little bit of potential.

"Falling" makes you fly in the sky, instead of falling down.

Doors disappear when you use them, that being said: they disapear when you try to enter, it turns to normal if you go back.
Speaking of going back: when trying to go back outside the building, there's some sort of glitch happening in the transition, might want to check that.
The message box you see when entering the building keeps appearing, when leaving and entering again too, is this intentional?

I'm going to make a video about this mod soon. It better be worth the price of the 3 1/2 minute delay to the release of Half Life 3 that this mod caused for having such a rediculous name.

First of all, the renewed area looks good, just as the new one. There's some issues though.
I've been wondering this for a while now, but why is Texas a cave?
You should add the balcony background(bkFog) there, it would look better, maybe.

Also, why is one of the blocks in 'grasstown' floating, while the others are hanging on chains? At least make on of the chains still connected.

Not really, although I've seen the word 'boss' when I was fixing some backgrounds.
Try peeking in the stuff from areas with bosses.

I forgot to mention, if you want your boss to actually look like the particular boss you're using, you'll want to change NPC spritesheet #2 to whatever boss you're using (it is #2 for the most part, as that's what it's normally reserved for, but it can also be #1 in some cases to. Balrog does use the second spritesheet, ftr.)

Why don't you sift through some of the original scripts yourself? That's how I figured out how to do it. I reckon you'll get a pretty good idea of what to do if you look inside of map #014 (Barr, in other words the empty shack.)
