Fucking please, a true pro's armor's all about swag. Gold armor is for pros, Adamantine is for posers. Just look at it. Red? May as well be walking the streets in your little sister's Hello Kitty PJs. As stated before, the supplementary set was meticulously designed to boost your level to just sub-pro, and a pro doesn't wear armor. The less armor you're accustomed to while cruising the streets, the closer you are to the elite rank of professional.

I think the Biggest difference to be Noticed here is the difference Between girly and Wimpy.
Also, you can't survive in Hell without taking damage? Come back when you're good at Terraria and we'll talk about pikachu and MLP.

2. Unreal Megashark + Crystal Bullet ( best anti-boss weapon ) [ although a Mystic Magical Harp is better vs. the Destroyer ]

As for what I prefer to LOOK like, I don a Necro Breastplate, Necro Boots, and a Jungle Rose - with Demon Wings on back.

 

Prefixes being redunant because obviously you want the best you can get....
Also for the sake of armor comparisons because 1.0 did a few things right that got fucked over in newer updates...

Also anyone remember when Eater dropped Shadow Armor?
I've already listed my items... so look: depends on playstyle -
magic characters, full Familiar set or a robe if I have the spare rubies.
ranged, armor with a vanity helm that doesn't cover most of the head - favorite is Hallowed followed by Cobalt
melee, full armor. Same preference.

 

Old silver armour looks exactly the same as the new stuff. And the old necro armour looks a bit silly to me.
And yeah, I do remember when the Eater of World dropped armour, I MUST BE SO COOL BECAUSE I'VE BEEN PLAYING THE GAME FOR A LONG TIME.
