Sup guys. I made a group on Soundcloud today dedicated to all ORGs and Pxtone creations we have on there. The group is right here. I figured that if we put all our songs together in a group somewhere very public, it means that if one of us starts getting more known, it'll affect everyone positively. I intend to get into promoting my music on Soundcloud and elsewhere, but it's gonna be tough without connections. This way, we can build up sort of a network of connections, yknow?
Regardless, there's really no harm in joining. Record some orgs, toss 'em up on Soundcloud, add them to the group. Simple enough, and I'd appreciate it.
Also this group would be a nice way to show people orgs without making them download orgmaker.

What are your thoughts, guys?

I can't make music to save my life let alone ORG's
Give it a shot! Whatever you make can't be too bad.

I'm gonna try and give feedback on whatever songs are added to the group, by the way. I'd love if you guys would do the same for everyone else, too!

This is going to sound like a stupid question, but is it better to give feedback directly on SoundCloud, or within the thread here? SoundCloud's comments aren't that great for a thorough critique, that's why I was curious.

I'd say Soundcloud - while its comments aren't perfect for a thorough critique, they're excellent at pointing out specific parts. As well, with Soundcloud comments, everyone's comments will be found in one place for a given song. It makes getting feedback easier for the creator.

Ooh, this means that I can actually listen to most fan made ORGs now. It's a lovely idea. :3

Please try orgmaking blink. It's a lot of fun once you get the hang of it and you never know it could be your thing!

Here's a possible solution
1. Make an Org
2. Use Noxid's .org to .ptcop converter to convert your Org project file into a PXTone project file. (The .org file will not be deleted)
3. Open the new file in PXTone.
4. Go to File > Export as .wav
5. The file will export as a .wav file. All you need to do is put it on the Internet!

Great idea. Maybe we could take on some music lessons from other SoundCloud users. Personally, myself, I haven't got into SoundCloud or Orgmaking much. I'll probably end up making 2-track, 8-measure crappy songs with some funky beat. I plan on joining soon.

I'm not familiar with Soundcloud, so I guess I'll get acquainted with it this way. I uploaded my first song, Storm Eagle from MMX (made specifically for the group), so take a look.
