So i made myself feel stupid.

I have just realised (i can't spell today ><) that almost EVERYONE that i have seen on this forum dislikes or flat-out hates runescape from what i can gather... but if im wrong just tell me. Also i need reasons why people dislike it >_>. Is it gameplay? Graphics? Or some other third reason that i can't think of at the moment?

Because of the monotonous and unimaginative gameplay, asstacular graphics, and the dumb, whiny 12-year-olds who play it.

 

and that you can do all the free stuff in a week.
and nobody wants to pay for an online game, unless it's wow.

 

I just hate MMORPG's in general. Especially runescape though.

 

Runescape pretty much sucks. Mostly because of the gameplay, and the engine itself. Who in the hell makes a MMORPG out of Java!?

It's incredibly tedious in many ways as well, such as to click to move, this isn't a RTS.
The music soundtracks are freaking midi's, which makes the game even more worse than it is.

The combat element is completely retarded, adding on.
You just have to sit, and wait and see if you die or the enemy dies. It's retarded.

The population there are asinine, all a bunch of tiny kids screaming and yelling "Noob" 15 thousand times, which is annoying as hell.

 

Excuse me, but I don't recall seeing any talk of Runescape on the forums.

 

I've been lured into playing RuneScape by a friend of mine some time ago. I think the worst thing about the "game" is the fact that all you ever do in it is fish or mine or make tools or milk cows to increase your smeggin' stats. It's like work, except you don't get paid. And the fact that you have to pay to get access to roughly half the game's contents is just riddiculous. I'm sorry, but there are a lot of games out there which are a) more fun and b) completely free.

The VERY FIRST RUNESCAPE was better, especially when it was new.

Well I never played it.
Some of my friends once did but I never really bothered.

Although what I once saw which was pretty retarded was this headline on the news.

It was something about a guy hacking into someone else's account on Runescape and stole some rare item.
The guy who had his item stolen pressed charges against the guy who stole it so they went to court. I dunno what happened after that...

The victim would never win that case, since the only thing worth suing for, a few weeks of his life back, would be impossible to get.
