New desktop for the time being because I broke my Windows installation when trying to do a clean install
Running Kubuntu (KDE Ubuntu) 16.04.1 (I was gonna dual-boot it anyway) since Ubuntu is nice in functionality but the Unity desktop it uses is total garbage

My desktop is a boring dark background...
But here's my desktop's... desktop!
Using virtual desktop with VR x)
Too bad the resolution isn't better... though playing Cave Story on a "movie theater" is pretty neat.
Though I'd like to see a translation of your typical flat 2d desktop into some kind of functional 3d space that's an improvement over the tried and true desktop. Take advantage of today's technology in a human way, where it just makes sense and requires little or no training. Between eye-tracking, hand movement and optionally voice, it should be even more effortless than using a mouse.

Or maybe alternatively, turning a desktop into a personal 3d room with an exceptional level of interaction and customization?

You can also always open the image in your browser without having to download it and look at the page title, which should, in this case, just easily say 2560×1440.

oh yeah, the resolution is 2560x1440. umm.. that is a very big screen. I never used a monitor that is larger than 1366x768 :/
