Not gonna lie, I hate it.

I just don't like the chord structure you got there I think. Also, the remastered version doesn't sound much like an actual guitar, you might have something if you played the power chords on a real guitar. But even then, I don't like the chord progression, or maybe the way it's expressed. Yea I think it's the part with the chromatic chords that pops up about every second bar. Not quite loving that.

You're a good composer, I've heard your other stuff. Not so sure about this though.

 

Yeah, I kinda just threw something together and I figured it sounded okay,
but I focused on the percussion more than the melody, so it's lacking.

I used guitar samples from Chrono Trigger and MMX because I didn't have
anything else to use, but without them, it actually sounds better...
I added just a hint of rhodes and bass but you can't really hear them over
the "guitars."

 

This bucket thing is going way out of hand.

@Saf: Well, I actually liked Metalbukkit, at least the part from measure 16 onward, although for the first 16 measures, I'd have to agree with gir that the chord progression is kinda wtf.

@Gir: Haven't listened to yours yet, and I'm kinda busy this week, but I'll reply asap.

Yea the chromatic chords you had before seemed really clashing, but this time you went a little easier on the chromatic element and just used in key spots. Good stuff.

 

@Saf: Oh yes, the new MB is definitely much better!

@Gir: Rainbow Resort is really nice, I love the texture/timbre that you set up. The beginning part before the melody comes in seems a little thin, and it's kinda hard to feel a downbeat in the first few bars, but other than that really nice job!
