Do you know if I can isolate and store the save file of Cave Story on a Mac? I already tried making copies of the program, and they share a save file somewhere... I just can't find it...

The file is called "com.nakiwo.doukutsu.plist" and it's stored in the folder "~/Library/Preferences/". (In case you don't know, the tilde ~ is a shortcut for your home folder.) That file also stores your settings as well as your savegame.
