Rockfish inspired game, Spearhead

I saw that one on itch a few days ago

 

I'm finally done with Goopward! Which means I can continue working on Spearhead, expect more frequent updates soon™

Today I refactored the camera and section system code, so here's some gameplay!

 

I've been having lots of trouble on writing the story for the game, I have the ideas, just don't know how to connect them.


One of the characters in the game is a cat that's vegan, why? Because I thought it was funny.

The problem I'm having is that I feel like it might romanticize people who don't feed meat to their cats, which is wrong since cats are carnivorous.
Maybe I could make it so the character just doens't like the taste of fish and anything else is fine?

 

Already got a good chunk of the story done!

I found a bug with the VK driver that crashes my whole system so for now sections will always be visible.

Maybe! I don't know how far in development the game will be by then.

Oh, I've done a few and shared them with people I trust. So far the feedback has been pretty positive!
