Replaying CS and boredom thereof

Though I did watch Dragonboots play CS a few weeks ago. That gave me a good feel I guess.

 

I can't help but read "Roleplaying CS and the boredom thereof" when I glance quickly through the New Posts list.

Errr.... that is all.

All I can remember is something about Cave Story and me smashing a white brick-type thing with my head...

 

I was not aware such a thread existed. Now I want to go and revive it just to spite you ;D

 

I tried playing it again without saving.

But then right before core I was like "hell no I don't wanna f*** this up and lose Curly"

so i stopped not saving

Perhaps a "not dying" run would be a better title.

 

Most boring parts are the collection missions, and the dialog. I already know what happens, I just want to shoot some baddies. One of the worst parts about the puppy collection is that stupid Jenka tells you her whole life story one piece at a time each time you bring her a dog. When Balrog beats her up, I just head straight to the storeouse because I can't stand the her stupid face.

If there's a mod or something where I can easily skip through all the text, that would make me have more fun with Cave Story.

 

All the parts are still equally fun to play. No matter how much I know what will happen the shooting and the music will keep me awake.

I always pick up Mr. Little on the same trip.

It's like stalling the end of the game, which is good because it's fun.
