If you're like me, you've replayed Cave Story, you've played through it many times.
When doing so, what parts, if any, do you get sick of?
I know that I personally get bored of:

-Egg Corridor: played it too many times without saving, accidentaly died, had to start over.
-Puppies: Gaaaaaahhhhhhhh....

What about y'all?

Puppies. Especially the last puppy where you have to go through all those birds that takes forever just because there's like a hundred of the damn things.

Also, the whole plantation segment seems to make me forget how to use the save disks so if I die halfway through that and have to start back from Kazuma I ragequit for a while.

Grasstown. ALL OF GRASSTOWN.
The rest of the game still feels nice and fresh to me for the most part, despite having played it so many times.

I never re-played CS too many times. And I think a lot of parts of it are monotonous.

But I have to agree with Yakkers. Freakin Grasstown. .__.

Puppies. Especially on a 3hp run. Sandzone was the only reason I had the Bubbler.

The Labyrinth also moderately annoyed me on my 3hp run, although otherwise it was generally easy.

puppies seems to be a given so far...

anyway, the waterway is incredibly boring, time after time after time.
Grasstown, excepting the Balfrog fight.
Monster X battle.
for that matter, half the labyrinth.
ANYTHING to do with the mimiga village.
the outer wall.
first time egg corridor.
Balrog fights.

probably the labyrinth, you're getting deep in the game and monsters and bosses are getting loads more HP but you don't yet have the super missiles/spur/nemesis to cut through it. also the core, especially without the machinegun.

Everything else is honestly fun to me. The only other part that's remotely annoying I guess is getting so many jars of jellyfish juice ove rand over to get various items and then needing to get ANOTHER one after turning on the fans or whatever for the bomb.

Is no one saying the Sacred Grounds/ Ballos???
I guess I failed at Cavestory so much anyway, I finally beat those levels after hours upon hours of trying. DEDICATION.

Yeah, the labyrinth is death the first few times you try it. I passed it without the booster or machinegun, and that takes friggin' patience. and swearing, lots of swearing.

All of Cavestory is hard, though. Remember the First Cave?

But this isn't about the challenging sections, rather the more boring and/or dull ones.

Definitely the puppies. I even decided that I would kill Omega and collect 4 puppies before fighting Curly, or else I would have gone crazy with the Sand Zone monotony.

I suggest we all take a 1 year break from playing Cave Story to relive the magic of playing it for the first time.

We're talking replaying the game. By the time you've beat Sacred grounds, you have pretty much no trouble with it thereon.

fetch quests

especially getting the Nemesis and/or Ma Pignon

core pre-fight shutters
i didn't know that you could save after opening them, come back in, and they'd still be open when I first played thru, and since the core owned me every time, it was a real hassle.

egg corridor 2

outer wall

waterway (excluding ironhead)

sacred grounds b1

plantation

last cave (normal)

Way ahead of you. I'd say it's been a little over a year.

Perhaps I should pick it up again.

Though I did watch Dragonboots play CS a few weeks ago. That gave me a good feel I guess.
