Odin Sphere reminds me of Cave Story with their Mimiga like people called Pookas...
[one looks like Chaco but not enough white ones, and their ears go up instead of down...]

Whoa, I never realized how similar Cave Story and Laputa are. I love them both.

They've both got a floating island, fighting robots, robots that take care of the animals on the island, a very powerful secret core to the island that is hard to access, a boy and a girl (though not robots) that end up saving the day, and a round, often grumpy old lady.

Oh yeah, and if the killer things on the island are unleashed onto the world, it'll be pretty bad.

I don't think it's plagiarism though, I'm taking a lot of this out of context. Dun wurries.

1 Spelunky`s final boss is like Ballos`s second form (whatch from 5:32)



2 Spelunky`s frogs remind Cave Story`s frogs only they are smaller. (whatch from 0:14)



3 Spelunky has caves and bats like CS.

Iji`s final boss Tor has very similar lightning attack like Ballos

I dunno she kinda makes me think what Curly Brace might be like if she was anime...

Haha, my algerbra teacher reminds me of professor booster.

 

Minecraft reminds me of Cave Story kind of, probably because I just made sprites at first and I play it with people from 'round these parts. Might also be the whole underground/mining concept.

And I might just have to be a furfag and play Odin Sphere now.
