Regions of Piramidos! (A game i'll make in a couple of years.)

It's a game me and my friend are going to develop in about a few months(There now will you guys shut the hell up?). I know it's along wait. But it'll be awesome. ^^
So yeah a few days for another update.
I gotta one thing to spill. It has a lot of things in common with other games! (i.e. Fire emblem,WoW,Star Craft and a few others.

Game Maker?

 

It's a game me and my friend are going to develop in about 2-4 years. I know it's along wait. But it'll be awesome. ^^

Wow. I've always dreamt of having a *finished* game. But school DOES kill, and I hate it when I'm running out of ideas.

And it's hard to get somebody to work for me. Hah. In the end I would be storing my ideas for later until I have the inspiration to make a game again.

 

Let's hope Mevon finishes it ^_^

If you're going to do something in 2-4 years ok fine whatever but why would you make a thread to announce something that doesn't exist, won't exist for years and may possibly never be

 

It is totally reasonable to start in 2 years.

If you want to have an awesome game like Pixel's Cave Story, you need a lot of planning. Maybe a full 2 years of planning and practicing programming (with various graphics libraries).
However, if you want to make a crappy mod like 90% of the uploaded programs on this forum, you should definitely start coding with no knowledge of TSC, ASM, or anything at all.

I can only use MS Paint to make awesome crap. Hah.

 

UPDATE!! (sorry I'm using my wii to type this.)
The game will use Unity (a 3D game engine.) Also this game will have various DLC. (gasp!) Since I came and told you guys first there will be a Cave Story DLC pack. Ya get the Polar Star, and maybe the Fireball. The DLC will be free if you put in your time for the Running Hell part! (huzzah!) or you can buy it from our site! (That'll be up in a few months.) for 3 big ones! I sadly don't know how much space the game will take up. (Hoping under 1 gig.)

So the game will have a feature that lets you change from FPS to an WoW look.
Ok with that out of the way...
The battle screen! (what'll look like.) It switches into a stratagy type. (i.e Fire Emblem. ) Then you tell everyone what to do.
Pets and how they help you!
Some pets use seasons to help! Like the bear! It goes from Grizzly(Spring),Black(Summer),Brown(Fall),and Polar(Winter)
