This is the Naruto Shuippuden opening 8, one of my favorites.

Not particularly for or against it. I may be giving it a bad rating, as I've heard far too many OPs recently and have gotten rather sick of them. It's kind of standard.

There could have been more of a buildup I guess

7/10 It sounds like a samurai retro ambient techno funk (do I know what a funk is even?)?! I liked the beginning alot, but soon dwindled.
Maybe because I've never had don't have a headache!

8.5/10 Yeah, it's classic goodness and a wonderful cover video which gives it a 10! But, it's brooding and depressing and making me sleepy... which makes it 7...

10 for coolness of what he put together.
6 for the performance... Maybe that's harsh, but it just feels like there's no life to the song. Where are the dynamics... The drum guy kind of symbolizes my issue (it needs majesty! Not tapping?) That's my opinion anyway.
I probably should give it a +1 for video execution though... (done!)

 

8/10 - I really enjoyed it, listened to it two times before rating it. Knowing where it plays makes me sad however.

 

8/10 Really relaxing, I only know two songs from that Evangelion thing.

 

7.5/10 I liked it lol. Never listen to many songs like that. The first minute or so was relaxing and had me smiling; after that though I kinda got impatient
