Quote X Curly? Wha.....

When I talk to my friends about this game, I call it "that game where I killed my hot robot girlfriend repeatedly, and had to restart".

So that's where I stand on this whole thing.




But as far as I'm concerned, they were built for/to compliment eachother, without the other, either would surely have died, regardless of skill at murdering woodland critters, and that's the only hard proof that can be construed as "Love" between them.

I still ship it doe.

Yes. It is any good. Buy it. It is a good game and you should play it. I don't have much more to say about it and I don't give a damn about what this thread is actually about so this post is kinda off topic but still yes.

Also, it'd explain Balrog's involvement. I mean, would it make more sense to curse your cousin or some random guy along with yourself to work together for presumably all of eternity?

Well, she does show some discontent for him at some points during the game.
Such as, from what I've gathered at this point in the game, just randomly sending him to the labyrinth to die.

Other than a nickname (Which makes more sense than a bar of soap toaster creature being related to an ancient witch) I can't really guess why he'd call Jenka auntie.

I was never really fond of QuotexCurly thing. It is maybe like those cheap shows when a boy is in love with a 1-2 year older girl who starts to develop secondary gender characterestics, but she ends up with an older boy at the end.

 

i have always wondered about their relationship but since nothing there isn't any clear cut evidence saying "quote and curly are a couple" i don't know really know. I know a few years ago I hated it because it was kind of cliche. But I guessi just tried looking at it the way I perceived it with actions throughout the game.

iron bond.. yeah i know it's been brought up a lot but.. there's a RED HEART smack dab in the middle.. I know the description seems pretty mutual-ish (partner in context is used both mutually and when relating to a SO) but when you just think about the RED HEART.. heart=LOVE amirite??? no...?? okay. well considering pixel IS japanese..(this is a possiblilty if he was going with japanese tradition/mannerisms) for those of you who know a bit about the culture (or are neets who watch anime all day) "love" is sacred to them and reserved for that "special someone" .. so if quote gave the iron bond to curly.. and she gave it back to him..

Okay anyways. What about the lifetank part?? Did Curly know that there was a way to drain the androids? (since Quote DID learn it in a book) Possibly she knew because she wasn't the one with amnesia? If she knew Quote had amnesia but gave him her lifetank knowing there was a chance he wouldn't know how to drain her, maybe it was ~love~~
Okay or just really strong android feelings.

I also liked that theory of how the two are just in an asexual relationship!
When I think of a brother and sister relationship, I can see them fighting together and stuff, but if they were related I feel like they would separate, but keep contact with each other. I think Curly would have probably liked to protect the mimiga and stuff. I forgot a lot of the game so I don't remember things right now.
Also. Iron bond stuff again. No matter how much I might have fought alongside someone, I don't think I would ever go about exchanging bonds with heart insignas and if I wasn't attracted to them romantically to a degree, but that might just be me.
Sorry if this doesn't make any sense at all. end of my little spiel.

 

Whenever I go against a fictional couple, I always have the same reason. That reason is:
I think their closeness as friends should never be put to a risk! I have seen fan-fiction of almost every male and female character I know getting together. As yourself this: why?
I think Quote and Curly are perfect friends, and it should stay that way.
(Also, I don't want Balrog as the third wheel! )

 

To my opinion Quote x Curly exists, but will never happen.
Let me explain: MAYBE Curly had a feeling for Quote, but Quote is more shy and keeps everything on himself (Thats the main reason because talks not to much times on the game), so Quote maybe had a felling for Curly, but he will never reveal it.
Also, this guy has reason, Quote and Curly are androids, if they were robots they would not show minimal care for the colons or the mimiga. Accordig to Wikipedia an android is a robot designed to look and act like a human, especially one with a body having a flesh-like resemblance. If this is true, Curly may had feelings for Quote. If they were robots that theory would be discarted automaticly, because a Robot is designed to do specific instructions, but an android does not have orders, it acts freely.

Well thats my theory.

 

Well considering that Quote drags Curly through a waterway, hell, restores her memory, gives her some medicine he found in an old crate, AND the fact that they were the only two soldiers sent to destroy the Demon Crown, a good robot rule 34 is imminent.
