I think what he meant is that headcrabs can control other organisms in a parasitic way, and the organisms become dead. Kind of. Odin has flawed logic, so don't expect my translation to make sense.

Learn proper grammar then. Chat speak and/or a lack of grammar while being fine on IM is less than acceptable on a public forum, it makes your posts impossible to read by anyone who does not speak English as their first language, and makes you look unintelligent.

I do not mean to insult you or anything, just can you please put some effort into typing out your posts.

I usually put 5 minutes of thought behind my posts. Don't type the first thing that comes to your mind, and if it doesn't contribute, then you're not obligated to post diddly shit. A forum is a place where people can communicate, and think out their opinions, as opposed to real life, where you don't have much time to evaluate on what you want to say, before you say it.
Also, if you misspell something, you have the ability to revise it. Capitalization and punctualization, also.

This makes no sense, if the guy is going to school then he's being educated and should know these things (unless he's not a native E-speaker which is actually pretty likely given this forum's history). On the other hand, yeah folks could lighten up a bit, but that would take effort

Most people who type out their posts without grammar and/or with chatspeak can type better, but do not. They are most likely used to IM where they use chatspeak and/or throw away grammar in exchange for typing quickly and assume that forums are the same.

I may sound harsh, but I speak from experience.

 

Even if someone uses proper spelling and grammar in their posts they can still come off as an idiot.

 

However, I find most of Jake's points (not yet including the recent ones in this thread) obviously idiotic, hence my presumption of him possessing a low-quality brain.
