I suddenly had a flashback to when I was 8, my palms sweating because I was working so hard to beat Lance. (I never used the save in-between each elite 4 method; I just ran through the entire thing over and over, so it was all the more frustrating.)

This game has a totally awesome soundtrack considering it came out in the 80's. I remember playing the arcade version on the playstation, it must have been one of those discs that was basically a compilation of arcade games.
