Which ones do you want/which ones are totally not lame?

Starter: Tsutaja- Reminds me a lot of treeko, but I think it actually looks cool compared to the other 2.

Chillarmy- He's pretty darn cute, not gonna lie.

Munna/Musharna- I actually think these are kinda cute too. Strange, but cute.

Hihidaruma- Possibly my favorite of the ones announced. He just....look at him.

Megukoro: GROOVY LIZARD

Rankurusu- He's a fetus wrapped in jello. He's awesome. Want.

Gochiruzeru- I'm still mild with this one. It's strange but I sorta like it at the same time. Gothic loli Gardevoir

Kibago- Well..I do love dragon pokeymans..and who knows; this little fella may evolve into something totally badass.

Wargle- I'm not too into non-evolving pokeymanz. But this guy is pretty cool and probably will have a nice moveset.

Emonga-

Tabunne- Adoraborr

Zekrom- I'm stuck with this guy cause my friend wants to get black, leaving me with white. Eh. He's still pretty cool.

 

I lost track of Pokemon at the fourth generation. I still can't believe they managed to make another 6 dozen or whatever.

I'm still kinda pissed that they're making Victini #000.

And yeah. It's sorta the same with me Shadow. I kinda preferred it when we just had up to generation II, honestly. And all these damn pokemon just makes it harder to complete the national dex like a douchefag (not like I bother with that anyway).

But, yeah. I still wanna give it a shot. >_>

The first half of that page was full of absolutely ridiculous-looking Pokémon.
And Zekrom looks like a total bad-ass.

 

YES, you did need to make a thread on this! I love pokemon... Although I'm not too thrilled with the whole "No old pokemon" thing, but I like the graphics on this one, probably the best game for DS!

That's the first I've heard of this. Is that why they have all those cutesy Pokemon? To replace the first gen ones?
I am disappoint. Half the fun of the games for me is nostalgia. Taking out the original set goes a long way towards negating that.

Anyway, it sort of seems like Pokemon is turning a new leaf with this game, seeing as the creature design has moved so far away from gen i and ii.

I mean, gen i/ii had a sort of style to it, gen iii/iv had a different style, but were still reminiscent of the originals, but v is just moved so far away from the original style that it just doesn't seem like pokemon to me anymore. That combined with the new pokedex just sort of supports my theory...

Anyway, that doesn't mean I'm not buying it.
Also, I think it's pretty cool that the protagonists are older and everything.

The rattata/sentret/zigzagoon/bidoof equivalent and its evolution are really, really freaking weird.
